Installation of the DN1200 water mains of which approximately 70 meters long by trenchless method. The proposed trenchless works is to be carried out around 6m underneath the existing Fanling Highway (FH) Southbound (S/B) and Northbound (N/B). A Slurry Pressure Balance (SPB) Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) – Herrenknecht AVN1200AB will be adopted for excavation underneath the Fanling Highway.
